The Similarities between India and Arab in Culture

This post was purposed for completing my score in english for academic purpose and based on my own views about these 2 countries :) enjoy and correct me by giving a comment after read it. Syukria ☺

India is a country located in south Asia, while Arab in west Asia. The region between them is not so far. That is why India still got some influences of Islam and may bring some similarities between them that cause territories expansion in spreading Islam. And if you find an Indian or Arabian you will be confused to guess the nationality of her/him because they are having some similarities about language, culture, and foods menu (those are special that make them become popular).

The expansion brings some similarities as the result. Long centuries ago, India had a big empire named Mughal Empire which was an example of expansion from Turkish people who got the power in Abbasiyah dynasty in Egypt. Some words in Hindi and Arabic are same in speaking but different in writing because Hindi uses Sanskrit while Arabic Hijayah. The words those similar are “Syukria” in Hindi and “Syukran” in Arabic means Thanks, Dunya in both means World, Mussafir in both means Traveler. Kitab means book, “Akhir” means the end.

In Culture they have similarities such as wedding party they like to have a luxurious and glamorous party and the bride’s hands must be full of Henna.  The family of bride does not need to pay someone to decorate it because they can make it by themselves. In celebrating they like to have a dance together but with female families only because Arab is dominated by Islam and the rules keep them secret. Meanwhile Indian they get free for dancing such as in Bollywood movie they can dance with boys and the music is similar. Sometime in Arab uses Indian music. Some of Arabian loves Bollywood and if you search in Youtube you will find some languages which were combined between Hindi and Arabic or just the translate.

In foods, menu also brings some similarities such as samosa that serve as a dessert, Chane bread like a bake bread in circle shapes but make it in a traditional fireplace. And biriyani rice is a main course that  has a yellow rice in Arab it combined with lamb meat but Indian do not eat meat because the Hindus rules. Both of them have a full seasoning for biriyani rice that make it delicious.

Although they are different in government systems, religion of people and other culture that different but behind all of those, the similarities of Language, Culture and Foods menu are completely matching and similar. The examples  make these two countries like a twin country in different part of Asia that make them become unique.
